Two Ways to Support Our Educators and Students this Summer

Help us at Peterson Insurance collect school supplies

JULY 10 - AUGUST 18TH for:



As we all know, teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of our children. They work tirelessly to educate and inspire the next generation, often with limited resources. That's why it's so important for us at Peterson Insurance to support our local teachers and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.


How can you help? This summer, Peterson Insurance Group invites you to join us in supporting our children and their teachers. You can choose how to support our teachers for the 2023-2024 school year.


WAYS YOU CAN GIVE:

Drop off much-needed classroom supplies (from the list below) at the Peterson Insurance office in Weaverville.


Bring school supplies by:

Monday - Friday: between the hours of 9am - 5pm.

Address: Peterson Insurance Group, 1 South Main Street Extension, Weaverville, NC 28787

  • Boxes of tissue

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Markers

  • Glue sticks

  • Baggies (quart-size, gallon-size, and sandwich-size)

  • Baby wipes (for cleaning)

Help us reach our goal of raising $500 for Barnardsville Elementary or Woodfin Elementary by making a monetary donation to support a specific school. Simply scan the click the graphic below, for either or both schools, then follow the link to send a donation that goes directly to these two outstanding schools.




To make a monetary DONATION, Click on the school you want to support, navigate down to the BLUE Donate button, then enter the name of the school and description.

BCS Foundation recognizes and applauds educators' hard work each day to ensure students' success. BCSF Teacher Innovation Grants provide additional funds to help maximize learning in classrooms, grade levels, schools, and/or the school system. All educators are encouraged to apply for grants when the grant cycles open in September and January. Grants are awarded in various amounts depending on the requests.
