For a full week, you can join us as we make donations in the office AND online. Every donation, no matter the size, food item or financial, makes a big difference to a person and family in need.
ABOUT MANNA FOOD BANK
Manna Food Bank is a local non-profit organization that works with over 200 regional partners to collect and distribute food donations to hungry people all across Western North Carolina. Their outreach and partnerships ensure that what is donated goes back to aid the local community it came from.
MANNA is actually an acronym that stands for Mountain Area Nutritional Needs Alliance. It's part of Feeding America which is the nation's largest hunger relief organization. Over 100,000 people each year receive support and resources thanks to Manna and their partners and donors.
THREE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
1) DONATE IN PERSON - Visit us in-person, at our office to make your donations. Add food supplies to the donation barrel, or leave a financial contribution "tip". The barrel will be in our office for contributions all week. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.
2) LUNCH IN EXCHANGE FOR DONATION - Save it all for Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 11am - 2pm and join us at Peterson Insurance for free lunch from Jim's Rollin Food Truck (hotdogs, bbq, slaw and beans) in exchange for your donation.
** Did you know: MANNA can create one meal with every 1.2 lbs of donated food, but can generate FOUR meals for every $1 donated.
3) DONATE ONLINE - f you can't make it to the celebration or to the office, you can still help us make a difference. Click the button below to make your online donation.
