🥫 September 1 – September 30, 2026MANNA FoodBank has spent four decades working to end hunger in Western North Carolina. This year, they're facing the highest need they've ever seen: federal food support is down, individual donations are down, and Hurricane Helene hit the local farms that donate fresh produce — many are still replanting and recovering.
To keep pantry shelves stocked, MANNA has had to increase its food purchasing budget by 156%. That's money spent buying what our community used to give.
Weaverville has always shown up for its neighbors, and Peterson Insurance Group has been proud to be an official drop-off spot for past drives. Every can, every box, every bag makes a difference.
