Our September food drive is wrapped, and thank you, Weaverville, for showing up again. This October we're putting our support behind MANNA FoodBank's 24th Annual Empty Bowls, and our own Eirene Peterson made bowls for this year's event through IyaBlu Pottery.
🥣 Monday, October 19, 2026 · 10am – 5pm · AshevilleEmpty Bowls brings Western North Carolina's potters, chefs, and neighbors together for one cause. Every guest chooses a handmade bowl from a local artist and takes home three soups, stews, or chowders, plus bread and dessert from area restaurants and bakeries.
Nearly everything at the event is donated, from the food to the pottery, so ticket sales go straight to MANNA's food distribution programs. The bowl you bring home is a keepsake and a reminder of how many of our neighbors are still struggling to afford groceries.
Can't make it on the 19th? The Collector's Corner is open to the public, with gallery-quality pieces from participating artists. All proceeds go to MANNA.
